It was great walking along the Parramatta River. There are designated walking and cycling paths and there were plenty of people around.

A hidden find was the little playground near John Street and Nowill Street. There is parking available and the playground is partly sheltered.

There is a sheltered BBQ area located towards the Rydalmere ferry stop which isn’t too far away.

The playground has swings and a small bike and scooter track. There are limited tables and seats but there is plenty of grass to sit on.

A good stop for kids to play around while you continue to explore the area.
